Research Interests

Elena joined AGBU in early 2021 and is currently working on index selection and estimation of genetic parameters for the Australian sheep industry. Her previous experience includes marker-assisted selection, genomic selection, reference population breeding design, simulation, imputation, data management and data analysis across a range of animals. She has dealt with both industrial sectors and academic communities which has considerably expanded her interdisciplinary skills.
