Reproduction rates in northern Australia are often low and genetic improvement is difficult to due to the limited data available for key reproduction traits.

The Repronomics research project aims to genetically improve female reproduction of three tropical beef breeds in northern Australia – Brahman, Droughtmaster and Santa Gertrudis.
